If surveyed about which room in the home is the most important, most of us would probably mention the kitchen. Arguably the hub of almost any home, the kitchen serves many purposes in addition to food preparation and clean up: it serves as a communication centre, a place to entertain guests, a place to keep light household tools, and more. Of course, in any kitchen, freezers and refrigerators are the most vital. While most fridges provide enough room and handy features, freezers often leave much to be desired and aren’t always large enough to meet our needs.
Enter the under-counter freezer. Compact and efficient, these freezer boxes fit neatly in small spaces, and are especially great for studio apartments, student dorm rooms, and any other place you might need a bit more food storage space.
Uses
If your home is busy during the holidays, an extra freezer box could be just what you need to store all of the leftovers. If you have kids, keep them from emptying your fridge by keeping their ready-to-cook after school snacks in an under-counter freezer, or use it to make home-made popsicles during the summer. Keep ice on hand before a party by using a compact freezer box to store a few ice trays, and keep alcohol chilled and ready for your guests. Save yourself from too many trips to the store by keeping a few extra loaves of bread in your freezer. If you’re extra busy during the week, cook a few simple meals during the weekend and freeze them for quick access later.
Most under-counter freezer boxes are equipped with several transparent drawers, enabling easy organisation and quick identification of frozen items. Equipped with self-defrost systems, these compact freezers require no complicated plumbing setup and need very little care.

Under-counter freezers are perfect for providing the right amount of extra space in any kitchen.
