If you prepare meals in advance or like to buy meat or other foods in bulk, you might find that your freezer simply isn’t big enough to accommodate everything at once. Large families can also need some extra freezing room. If you keep having to cut back on your shopping and cooking or if you’re constantly rearranging the freezer to fit everything in, then it’s time to think about investing in some more space to freeze food. Find out more about the options available before you invest.
Table top freezers
If you just need a little more space for your frozen goods, a table top freezer is probably the right option for you. Table top freezers are generally just square shapes with one or two shelves, perfect to fill up with the foods you’ve bought in bulk. By the way, these don’t have to go on top of tables – they’re a convenient option to store just about anywhere in your home.
Chest freezers
Chest freezers provide a large amount of space to store food, so if you’ve got the space around the house for one of these and if you really need to freeze food in bulk or store large items, this is your best bet.
Upright freezers

An upright freezer provides a spacious interior with easy access to everything that’s stored inside. It’s perfect for storing pre-made meals, but whether you choose this or a chest freezer will probably depend a lot on the area you have to keep it in – a wider area works better for a chest freezer, while an upright freezer will probably stand alongside your fridge freezer.
Keep it safe
Whatever freezer you choose, remember to follow safety guidelines for freezing to keep your lifestyle both healthy and convenient.
