Integrated washing machines have started to readily and steadily replace outdated, freestanding washing machines, mainly because flats and general living areas are getting smaller, and space conservation is something that many people are trying to factor into their everyday lives. Integrated washers are purposefully designed to take up the least amount of space possible, allowing many of them to conveniently and neatly fit into your cupboard or cabinets.
What’s the difference?
The main difference between integrated and non integrated washing machines is that integrated washers have been designed to take up as little space as possible; most of them are made to fit into your lower kitchen cabinet. They are more streamlined than their bulky counterparts, and have been designed with energy conservation in mind. Therefore, they use less water and electricity than traditional washing machines.
What to look out for

When purchasing an integrated washing machine, the number one thing to look out for is size. Compact is the key idea here, and it is important to take measurements, and make sure that your new integrated washing machine fits perfectly into your kitchen/laundry room, allotting some space for when the machine is actually in use.
Another thing to keep in mind is the load factor. If you are living on your own it is not at all necessary to go for the biggest, most expensive integrated washing machine. These days appliances are being made to fit into your lifestyle, so choose one that accommodates your own personal living situation.
Everyone is trying to live a more budget-friendly lifestyle, and getting an integrated washing machine with complicated controls and functions is not only more costly, but also a bit outlandish (unless you are starting a dry cleaning business from home).

One of the major selling points of integrated washing machines is that they are built to last. They can keep on going for years without needing to be replaced. By saving space and money, it just makes sense to invest in an integrated washing machine.
