Water is a precious resource that we tend to take for granted. The UK uses exorbitant amounts of water and much of it is spent unnecessarily. Each person uses about 150 litres of water every day with the average household consuming over 100,000 litres annually. That is equivalent to about 317 pints of milk and when you think of it like that, it really is a lot of water for so few people. Heating water to bath, wash up or shower contributes one-fifth of a household’s carbon footprint. (more…)

For the first time ever, Coca-Cola is no longer in the top 10 in Brand Finance’s annual list of the top 500 brands worldwide, and this is because people are opting for enhanced water boosted with vitamins and electrolytes instead of fizzy drinks. Caring for plants after water logging
At times, we become overzealous and think our plants require a lot of water especially during the hot summer months. We tend to flood the plants and soil with too much water, which can cause water logging. When water logging takes place, the roots are starved of oxygen and it results in poor functioning, eventually leading to root disease and even root death.
