Fruit is an essential part of a balanced diet and is a healthy alternative to fatty snacks like chips and sweets. Fruit can be dull and unexciting and is not particularly tempting when hungry or peckish, though. Liven fruit up by preparing it in some different ways and get your children and yourself eating more fruit every day. Why exposing children to the dangers of smoking is child abuse

There are few people who don’t by now know the dangers of smoking, but many smokers think that it’s only themselves that their habit is harming. Now, the chairman of the Royal College of General Practitioners has called on parents to take more responsibility for the effects that can result from children being exposed to their parents’ secondhand smoke – and labelled smoking in front of children ‘child abuse’.
