The world seems to be going bonkers over ‘Size Zero’ and everybody is trying hard to shed their flab to get that fab looking body. Anyone with a good sculpted body looks appealing but that shouldn’t mean you have to go anorexic. Today, in this fast moving world, anyone rarely gets time to take care of their fitness which should be the most important thing. Our lifestyle has become inactive and mundane. Pregnant Women eating Unhealthy Food damage their Child

It has long been common knowledge that drinking and smoking while nursing or pregnant harms the baby’s health and can result in birth defects. However, new research shows that other, less obviously harmful activities, can also have adverse effects on the unborn baby; such as eating unhealthy food. According to the results found based upon studies on animals, eating unhealthy fast food and junk food can cause substantial and lengthy harm to the unborn foetus. (more…)

The Healthy Eating Bus takes aim at Scotland’s Young

Eating healthy is always a challenge. Perhaps the problem is that unhealthy food tastes so good, or maybe it is a lack of knowledge and education. In the belief that bad habits are hard to break, and that many bad eating habits first develop when we are young, the Scottish government has decided to launch an initiative to teach children about healthy eating. Not only are they instructing children on what is healthy to eat, but they also teaching sound cooking skills to everyone including parents and teachers. Prices of everything are skyrocketing lately, especially when it comes to petrol and food. For some people it is becoming hard to just to fill up their car for a trip to the supermarket, yet alone to eat healthy and organically. While eating healthy has typically entailed higher costs than fast food, the explosion of world food prices has made it an even more expensive habit. Are we therefore forced to eat greasy and unhealthy cheap food out of necessity?
