This is a fantastic piece of kit but I would like to warn owners, especially if they are planning to prepare baby food, that although Phillips say the bowl is dishwasher safe, this forces water into the fixed central cog and the mucky water is then thrown into you food during the next use. I only discovered this by accident, because I was processing a small quantity of nuts and couldn't figure out why they ended up wet. Doing a few test runs with the chopping blade and no contents, yukky water was being thrown out of the central cog. If we hand wash it, this doesn't happen. Obviously if you leave the processor for a week or so, there is a risk that this stale water would contain bacteria. Other than that, it's the best processor I have owned and the large bowl is perfect for prepping large quantities.
