An electric cooker, Hotpoint EW38 is a freestanding structure. The main oven’s net cavity volume is 54 litres while the top oven net cavity has a volume of 28 litres. It has 4 rings and 2 cavities in total. A conventional oven, it has porthole as the oven door style and the main door opens from top to bottom and the hot tub is made of ceramic. Available in various colours, Hotpoint EW38 has 4 burners and a single grill. It has an electric timer and interior light, which allows the user to see whether the food is done or not. This is a helpful feature, especially in low light conditions where lack of sufficient light makes it difficult for the user to check the food’s status. With dimensions 900mm height, 500mm width and 600mm depth, the Hotpoint electric oven comes with a 5 year parts and 1 year labour guarantee.
There is a single oven with separate grill and catalytic oven liners and a separate grill in top cavity. There is a ceramic hob with 4 hob hot lights and is energy efficient. It has been rated ‘B’ as far it energy consumption pattern is concerned. The Hotpoint EW38 also has a minute minder/timer, which allows the user to time the cooking time. This enables to switch off the oven even when the user is not around and saves it from getting overcooked or burnt. It also has slow cook economy setting, which lets the food cook slowly. It has catalytic liners which use heat to burn off grease. These special liners allow the heat to remove the grease. Also, the oven has a removable inner glass door, which can be removed when not required.
