Milk- Milk is the most nutritious food for kids as it is rich in vitamins. Kids love milk up till the age of 2-3 after that they start dreading it. As they grow up, unhealthy ice cream shakes and sodas take its place. Well you can make milk yummy for your kids again. All you need to do is make use of a blender like the Kenwood CH180, pour a glass of milk in it and make some filling milk shakes with fresh fruits like strawberries, mangoes or bananas and add some honey instead of sugar to make it sweet. Add loads of crushed ice and serve it to your kids with some snacks and then see whether they ask for more or not.

Yogurt- yogurt is yet another milk product that children dislike. Yogurt contains some healthy bacteria that are good for digestion purposes. It also contains calcium and a number of other vitamins. You can make yogurt tasty for kids by serving it frozen with fruits or making some really tangy dips by adding mint or cucumber along with some spices. You can also make some interesting salad dressings with yogurt.

Green vegetables- There are hardly any kids who like green vegetables. But if you serve them barbecued with some interesting tomato and mint dips, then they will surely love it more than their favourite chips.

Morning Cereal- Children hate to wake up every morning and look at those boring breakfast cereals on the breakfast table. These cereals have whole wheat and are rich in iron and proteins, and all these are essential for growing children. You can serve cereal with milk and fruits, topped with some honey. Otherwise you can also make a pudding by scrambling the cereals with some fruits and milk and freeze it. After that you can add a layer of fruits to it, topped with a layer of cream, garnished with some cherries, nuts and marmalade. Children would love it.

Fruits- fruits like green vegetables are nutritious but loathed by children. However you can feed fruits to your children by making milk shakes, combining with yogurts or squeezing out some fresh fruit juices. You can also make your pancakes interesting by adding some fruits over them and topping them with some maple syrup.
