With the huge amount of cooking possibilities available for the aspiring chef, having all the correct cooking gadgets is often essential. Of course most people’s kitchens also place size limits on how many cooking appliances can be accommodated and reconciling size with capability is very important. Whirlpool recently introduced their SpeedCook, which satisfies all the needs of any cooking aficionado in the form of one single compact device.
The SpeedCook is the answer to all cooking aspirations, as it includes a steamer, convection oven, regular oven, and even a microwave. The included convection oven offers numerous advantages over a regular oven; including a faster cooking time. The amount of time saved is especially noticeable for dishes that take a long to cook, such as roasts. But it can even make a significant difference when cooking simple items as well, like biscuits. Clearly, the SpeedCook manages to live up to its name and outdoes previous oven models from Whirlpool; including the Whirlpool AKZ 161. Moreover, the power settings for the oven are even adjustable, as the regular 1,200 Watts for standard cooking can be enhanced to 1,500 Watts for grilling sessions.
The oven’s innovative features don’t end here, as special sensors located inside the oven can actually adjust the time and temperature to make sure the dish in not overcooked. Finally, in addition to the cooking methods already mentioned, Whirlpool has included their patented SureMist steamer for steaming anything from dumplings to vegetables. The SpeedCook essentially covers every cooking possibility an amateur cook could come up with, and is also rather affordable with prices ranging from £525 to £600.
