Good Running Shoes for all your training needs

Good running shoes are essential for performing your best, whether you are a professional or just running to keep fit, and there is a vast array of running shoes on the market to choose from. It is important to choose the right type of shoe for your particular needs and running pronation, so before running off to buy what you think is a good running shoe, you need to know what your foot type is. There are three common different types of feet; normal arch, flat feet and high arch.

Different feet need different shoes

A normal arch is the most common type of foot, and is the easiest to shop for. Good, stable shoes that offer moderate running  pronation are best for avoiding injury and discomfort.

Flat feet need motion control shoes because they are more prone to injuries, and high arched feet need softer midsoles for shock absorption.

Why do I need shoes made specifically for running?

Sport shoes have different shapes that support different parts of your feet, depending on what you are doing and what you need.  Selecting the right running shoe can make all the difference when it comes to the right support, and avoiding injuries.

Depending on what type of running you will be doing should also determine the type of shoe you buy. Selecting the correct pair of shoes to support your running pronation and foot type can be likened to an all day research project. In other words, it takes time.

Shoes for sprinting are not as durable as those made for long distance or marathon running. Hiking shoes are studier than your everyday trainer, and regular everyday street trainers are softer and trendier than utilitarian sport shoes worn by professionals.
