HI
What a wonderful machine. The only snag is that one needs to go on a two week course in order to operate the thing. I have just come across one in a holiday flat and between us we never mastered the secrets of the pipe attachment. We would hsve dearly loved to empty the dust that it gathered, but try as we may we never sussed it out. We were loath to pull or twist things too hard in case we broke anything. I am prepared to believe that all the things we could not do are easy when you know how, but without the instruction manual we didn’t stand a chance. Our verdict: TOO CLEVER FOR ITS OWN GOOD.

I have just “inherited” one of these when I took over the cleaning at my office and like you am totally foxed as to how to open the dam thing to empty it. Easy to Empty “I DON@T THINK SO”.
