Clean your Kitchen any Time of the Year
Traditionally spring is the time to do the deep house cleaning, but cleaning can be useful any time of the year, especially concerning the kitchen, which is the heart of our house and definitely requires that extra attention. A thorough cleaning will not only help in making the kitchen more sanitary, but also helps us in getting more organized. The increased organisation also has the added benefit of saving us on time and money, both of which are always valued and in short supply.
The first and primary things to consider in kitchen cleaning are the cupboards, fridge and freezer; and to clean all of them thoroughly. Check out for all the food items stored in the cupboard that have expired and try consuming the ones closest to their expiry dates first. Then look over all the leftovers in the fridge and frozen materials stored in your freezers. Some of those gigantic fridges, like the Samsung RSA1DHMH, can have all kinds of spoiled things hidden in their depths. Take time to organize your cupboards by grouping similar things and placing them in alphabetical order, as this will avoid any kind of inevitable duplication of items.
The kitchen is full of appliances, food articles and our daily use utensils; there are a lot of little things that will need our attention. Even in the cleanest kitchens, grease starts developing in the most surprising areas. Take time and clean some of the most neglected areas such as under the oven, microwave or refrigerator, hob and chimney, light fixtures, coffeemaker, microwave, windows and mini blinds.
Once the kitchen is sparkling clean invest some time and money in brightening it up. Replace the tossed out ragged towels with new and crisp ones, change the plastic storage containers and the soap dispenser. You can even decide on a particular colour scheme to make a statement of your own.
