Some More Remedies for dealing with Stains

All of us are very familiar with the feeling we get whenever we enter a room which was initially clean, but is now full of crayon, or marker stains, worse; all thanks to our darling kids.

One should never fear looking at these stains, as they are the easiest to remove, depending on the type of paint that is used on the wall. The only disadvantage is that electronic cleaners (even advanced ones like the Bosch BSG8PRO1 vacuum cleaner) are not well suited for cleaning walls. For general dirt or fresh stains, an all purpose cleaner solution and a good scrub will do the trick.

Oil: The grease stains can be removed from the walls by just applying a little dish washing liquid on the affected area or stain, then leaving it for a while. Finally, rub the area with a soft scrubber in a circular motion. Use a paper towel to absorb any kind of extra moisture left on the wall.

Marker: Marker stains can be easily removed from the walls with the help of some simple tips. Alcohol based ink can be removed with help of a hair spray, while the oily one can be removed with lighter liquids. The easiest ones to remove are water based inks; simply apply a mixture of dishwashing liquid and a dash of colour safe. You will witness remarkable results in few minutes.

Crayon: It is very simple to remove crayon marks from the wall. Take a cloth and fold it properly to make a thick pad. Now put hand lotion and baking soda on the cloth, and then rub the affected area in circular motion. Now finally take another cloth and clean of the lotion by wiping the wall with the detergent mixed water.

Stains on walls are actually the easiest to removed provide, provided they are cleaned immediately or as soon as they happen.
