Samsung RSA1DHMH: High Performance Two-Door American Style Refrigerator

The refrigerator is a vital component to any household and usually one of the most frequently used appliances. Given its importance, one should take the same amount of care in purchasing a new refrigerator, as say a car, and indeed many people do. Contrary to popular conception, all fridges are not alike, and one fridge is not just as good as any other. Aside from the all the extras included in fridges today, such as ice dispensers, LCD screens, or draw-on surfaces, refrigerators can also be fundamentally distinguished from each other in terms of design and technology. Different designs are usually defined by the location of the freezer, with the freezer either on top (the traditional method), on the bottom, or side-by-side (also known as American style). It is probably known as US style because it is the largest and roomiest, has the most freezer space, but also of course takes up more kitchen space. America style fridges are gaining popularity because of the extra size, and the Samsung RSA1DHMH remains one of the most popular and successful side-by-side models in the UK.

The Samsung RSA1DHMH has a total capacity of 555 litres, including 5 fridge shelves and 6 freezer compartments. The total amount of room in the model is almost double the capacity of most standard fridges. But despite offering such a large amount of food storage space, the Samsung RSA1DHMH itself is not completely gigantic, with measurements of 178 x 91 x 73 centimetres. The fridge’s other features are also first-class, as Samsung has included all its latest technology in this model. The fridge comes equipped with an ice and water dispenser on the outside to conveniently fill drinks, an energy rating, LED temperature display and temperature control. The price of around £550 is slightly more than a standard refrigerator, however, this Samsung model clearly offers much more capacity and performance than any standard model.
