Your eyebrows frame one of your best features so it is essential to make that frame as beautiful as possible. Perfecting your eyebrows is all in the detail and getting the right shape can prove difficult. No person has the same shape eyebrows and so each person’s brows need individual attention. Remember that eyebrows need to be plucked on a regular basis and getting the perfect brows may cause some pain!
Look natural
Natural eyebrows look the best so don’t over pluck and definitely don’t draw on your eyebrows with a pencil like Pamela Anderson. First you need to look at the shape of your brows and determine how your eyebrow is placed along your brow bone – your new shape should not differ too much from your existing one. The perfect shape begins in line with the edge of your eye, peaks at your iris and diminishes at the corner of the eye.
Get plucking
Brush your eyebrows upward with a toothbrush or eyebrow brush and trim any pieces of hair from the top of your arches. Now smooth over your eyebrows and after confirming exactly the shape you want start plucking away any stray hairs at a 45-degree angle one at a time. Re-examine your look regularly to make sure you don’t over pluck – if you do happen to leave a bald patch them simply colour it in with a brow pencil. Make sure both eyebrows are symmetrical and if you’re nervous consult a beautician.
Finishing it off
If your eyes are sore and red after plucking then simply apply a light moisturiser or eye cream to the area and leave to try. Remember you skin is most supple after a bath or shower so plucking can be done then. Waxing can also do the trick but it is harder to control and should be left to a professional.
