Short hair is great for women who don’t want to spend a lot of time on their hair but short hair can also look great in a multitude of styles. You can have fun with styling short hair to create many different looks. You just have to know where to begin. With some great hair styling products designed especially for short hair, the style options are endless. Now you can have fun with your short hair instead of wearing it the same way everyday.

Have fun with clips

The easiest way to style short hair is by using a multitude of little butterfly clips or barrettes. Divide you hair into sections then twist them tightly and secure with tiny butterfly clips for a retro look. If you want something simpler take two pieces of hair from the front and criss-cross them over each other, finally fasten them just above the ear with a pretty barrette and leave the rest of your hair loose.

The shape

Short hair is easy to style with some gel, a comb, some styling tools and hairspray. If your hair has choppy layers then part your hair at the side in a zigzag formation and spike it out at the bottom with your fingers and some gel. If your hair is naturally straight then try curling it into ringlets for a sophisticated look like actress Charlize Theron. Sleep with your hair in curls and rock the bed-head look the next day.

Ponytails

Even a girl with short hair can look great in a ponytail. Use a thin elastic band and gather your hair into a sporty, short pony at the back. This hairdo looks best on girls without layers but if your hair is simply too short to tie into one pony then consider pigtails or a multitude of tiny ponytails.
