Plumbing in a washing machine is an easy task but it consumes a lot of time. You can easily find the instructions on the web. The best way to do it is using push fit fittings which makes the DIY job extremely easy. The first and foremost step is deciding the right place for your washing machine. You should make sure that there is a hot and cold water supply nearby. Furthermore and electric switch should also be there so that the appliance can be easily connected.
You should always choose the push fit fittings that are the easiest type of connection available in the market. In the push fit fittings for washing machines you will have to cut the existing pipe and push the pipes into the fitting. The water actually needs isolation to the pipe you are going to cut into two. If the system has isolating valves in between the main supply then you may consider yourself fortunate. On the other hand, if there are no isolating valves then you will have to isolate water in the main water inlet stopcock. After the isolation of water you should cut through the pipe and enter them. The pipes may have some water left in it and you should be ready to clean it with some cloth in your hand.
Different pipes are cut using different tools and you should be careful about that. After cutting the pipe you should fit the T piece and another pipe. Then you should fix another washing machine tap which will complete the whole installation process.
