Home Facials: A Great Substitute for the Expensive Salon Facials

As a part of our regular skin care practice, facials are essential for maintaining the glow and attractiveness of our face. If you are missing your monthly facials because of the heavy salon bills, you must try a home facial.

These easy to follow steps will save upon your time and money while giving you a beautiful skin.

• First of all, wash your face and remove all your make-up. The best way of doing this is to leave the cleanser for 2-3 minutes and then remove it with cotton wipes.
• Use a gentle exfoliating scrub to remove the dead skin. Apply it on your face and neck and move your fingers in circular motion for 5 minutes. While doing this, you must concentrate on the greasy areas (nose and forehead in case of a combo skin).
• Now, fill you sink with boiling water and drape a soft towel around your head and face. Leaning on the basin’s top, allow the steam to hydrate your facial skin for another 5 minutes.
• After steaming, you can conveniently remove the blackheads and whiteheads with a mask. Go for a clay mask if you have an oily skin and a gel or cream mask in case of a dry skin. Apply the mask evenly and leave it for 10-20 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.
• The next step is to tone your skin with an alcohol-free toner. Pour it on a cotton pad and apply on the face and neck.
• Finally, apply your favourite moisturizer, such as the Ralph Lauren Romance Sensuous Body Moisturiser, that will give a final touch to your facial.

You can do it yourself at a leisure time and believe me it will give you a finer looking skin within 25-30 minutes.
