Each one of us on this earth dreams of having a dream home décor. And we truly believe that this can be only possible if we are involved in the designing of the house of course with the architect. But in today’s world, how far is this actually possible? Most of the time, we go in for rented space or buy a house which has been built by somebody else and meets most of our requirements except a few here and there, which we are ready to compromise on. But with a little bit of effort, we can make up for not taking part in the construction of our home, and still make it fulfill our perfect home décor dream.

We can always get on decorating some nooks and corners of our house, such as the corridor, staircase, lofts and landings etc., to actually make a big difference. Decorating these places has always been a common problem for everybody. With a little imagination and some effort we can transform these boring and unattended places into something very attractive and fun.

Corridors can be well decorated by putting some paintings on the walls, or adding some lamps at small distances, or adding some artifacts and flower arrangements with some yellow lighting. Similarly the place beneath the staircase should not be always used for storage, as you can put some wallpaper there to give a feeling of depth. You could also create a little recreation corner by putting in some cushions, or adding some potted plants, a coffee table and a chair. Beanbag chairs work great for recreational areas as well.

It is not always important what you do but how you do it. If you want your house to be your dream house and look different and stand out from others, then try to think different. Don’t always do what others do, instead let your imaginations do wonders for you.
