Tips on Decorating your Christmas Tree
Christmas season is usually party time and every one of us yearns to enjoy a wonderful moment with loved ones. It provides us the ideal platform to showcase our Christmas preparations. A well designed and decorated Christmas tree, complete with treasures and other essentials, not only creates a lasting memory of the season, but is also a perfect symbol of the Christmas season. With the approaching festive season you tend to have an innate urge for the perfect Christmas tree. It is without doubt the focal point of the festival and its decoration and designing need proper attention. Here are some useful tips that will assist you in creating the perfect Christmas tree.
Ensure that the tree is fresh-cut, so that it looks fresh and green, and immediately set it in water. It will radiate vibrancy and add colour to the occasion. A pale looking tree, on other hand, has the potential to make the whole atmosphere gloomy.
Add a combination of 1 quart water, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, and 1 teaspoon liquid bleach to the tree’s base. This will add longevity to the plant.
An order should be maintained while decorating the Christmas tree. It should be lights first, followed by garlands and ornaments.
Start from the branches on the base of the tree while arranging the lights. Move on to the outer edges of the branches once you have completed weaving strings of light along the branches “inside”.
The use of ornaments should be complementary and should not be exaggerated. Avoid displaying ornaments on the tips of branches. It will produce a repelling effect which is undesirable. While arranging the filler ornaments see that they are evenly spaced around the tree. You can have your own choice while deciding upon the design and colour of these ornaments. Finally, add your own ideas and imaginations to the above mentioned tips and gift yourself a personalized Christmas tree. Of course, what’s almost as important as the tree (if not more so) are the presents underneath. Everyone naturally has their own tastes and desires, but few look badly at receiving a high-end gaming console, like the PS3 80GB, or a hifi stereo set, or a LCD full HD television set, which will all compliment the tree magnificiently.

In large quantities it is, but only a teaspoon will actually help add to the Tree’s longevity.
