Rubbish is meant to go into rubbish bins, but then the question arises where does one stash those ugly garbage cans and recycling items? Certainly not next to the house or any visible part of the house! That would surely destroy the beauty of the house. So instead get started building a rubbish hideaway that will keep the rubbish out of sight. It is not a difficult task if you keep the following steps in mind:
• First of all decide on the area you want to allocate to the rubbish hideaway. Obviously it should not be a very visible area even though it looks good. The area must be staked off and leveled with a shovel.
• Cut posts and post them firmly into the ground. Make sure that they are at least one foot deep in order to give them the firmness. It would be wise to do this using the correct tools, like say the Makita BHR 200 hammer drill.
• Now they have to be set in concrete. While the concrete hardens you can use lumber and clamps to hold them in place. You can use quick setting concrete so that you don’t have to wait long for it to harden.
• Next lay down a layer of sand. This is an excellent base for pavers.
• You may have a small garden gate with a latch to keep children out.
• Finally, it would be a good idea to have a storage shelf installed. This will simplify the task of cleaning the cans.
So this takes care of the rubbish and keeps your home aesthetically intact!
