Victoria’s Secret, like the Empire State Building and Hollywood, has become synonymous with the USA. But the popular lingerie chain will now make a trip over the Atlantic so that British women can also experience what Americans have been raving about for years. The downside is that the UK has to wait another two years until 2012 for the Victoria Secret Store on the corner of New Bond Street and Brook Street in London opens. Fructose sugar: overweight and diabetes warning

Fructose sugar is a natural fruit sugar found in many soft drinks and processed foods that has long been blamed for the spread of obesity worldwide. A new study has found that this concern is valid, and that fructose sugar should be avoided whenever possible, as it can lead to fat around the belly (increasing the risk of heart disease) and can cause insulin resistance, in turn a cause of type 2 diabetes.
